Tea & Coffee Asia's New Owners Look Forward to Serving the Industry; will Soon Announce New Exhibition Schedule for Asia Region
BANGKOK, THAILAND - Effective March 31, 2009, October Multimedia Co., Ltd. acquired Tea & Coffee Asia magazine, along with other assets, from Lockwood Publications, Inc., of New York. Headed by Glenn Anthony John, who started Tea & Coffee Asia for the former owner in 1999, the magazine will also retain its other core staff members, including: Heneage Mitchell, managing editor; Viphada Twatwannaphong, production and circulation manager; and Somjet Titasomboom, art director.
With these changes, October Multimedia is now free to better allocate company resources to concentrate on Asia - its major region of expertise - which will be reflected in improvements and fine-turning of Tea & Coffee Asia in the coming months. October will also soon announce plans for a series of country-specific exhibitions for the industry to be held around the Asia region.
In addition to Tea & Coffee Asia, October Multimedia and its familiar sales force remain the exclusive sales and marketing representatives for all Lockwood Trade Journal Co.'s tea and coffee exhibitions and magazines for customers in the Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and Eastern Europe regions. These products include Tea & Coffee Trade Journal, UKERS International Tea & Coffee Directory and Buyers Guide and the Tea & Coffee World Cup Exhibitions, and all associated websites.
"Buying the market leading Tea & Coffee Asia magazine is a truly great opportunity," said John, president of October Multimedia Co., Ltd. "And we won't waste a minute developing the Tea & Coffee Asia brand and further strengthening its importance to readers throughout the Asia region."
